Carry-on baggage
Your carry-on luggage (the bags you bring on board your flight) will go through security screening with you. Each airline sets the number of carry-on bags allowed, as well as size and weight restrictions per bag. Check with your airline for details. Checked baggage
Airlines set their own baggage allowance standards, including size and weight restrictions. Check with your airline for checked bag limitations or to learn how to pack specific items.
When you arrive at the airport, your checked luggage will be weighed and tagged before you place it on the designated bag drop. If you're travelling with special items, such as golf clubs or bicycles, please review airline policies in advance as some restrictions may apply.
Baggage carousels
Three baggage carousels are located in the Arrivals Hall, starting with Baggage Carousel 1 closest to the escalator. Your checked bags will be available on the baggage carousel shortly after your flight arrives.
If you're arriving on an international flight, your checked bags will be on the baggage carousel in the Customs Area. Be sure to collect your checked bags before exiting the Customs Hall.
Baggage carts
Baggage carts are free to use and available throughout the airport. Find cart corrals next to the baggage carousels in the Arrivals Hall, on every level of the Parkade, in the Economy Lot (marked by signs featuring blue carts), and in hotel parking lots.
Oversize luggage
We have a baggage handling system to accommodate larger items.
Dropping off oversize luggage
After checking in with your airline, drop your oversize luggage at the designated location
- Domestic / international flights: directly across from Door 3 on Departures Level 2.
- Transborder flights: across the bridge before going through pre-board screening.
Picking up up oversize luggage
Upon arrival, pick up your oversize luggage at the designated location
- Domestic flights: along the back wall of the Arrivals Hall between Baggage Carousel 1 and 2.
- International flights: after you've gone through customs, the pick-up location is adjacent to Baggage Carousel 4.
Baggage services
Connect with baggage service staff if your luggage does not arrive or if you'd like to make a claim for damage to your luggage.
Find Baggage Services in the Arrivals Hall or Customs Hall, depending on your airline.
