Winnipeg Airports Authority and Stella’s are pleased to announce that Stella’s will return to Winnipeg Richardson International Airport in early 2024.
Stella’s is coming back to its familiar location on the Departures Level of the airport after leaving the terminal in 2020 due to the decline in passengers during the pandemic. The revamped space will be expanded with three unique concepts: a lounge, a restaurant, and a bakery with grab-and-go options.
“The return of Stella’s gives travellers another dining option in the terminal,” said Scott Marohn, Vice-President, Commercial for Winnipeg Airports Authority. “As passenger traffic continues to climb back to pre-pandemic levels, it is essential that passengers have more options.”
“Stella’s is excited to be planning to serve customers locally and from all over the world who come and go through the airport. Stella’s offers a signature Winnipeg experience, and we can’t wait to offer it to everyone,” said Rob Del Grosso, Vice President, Stella’s.
Stella’s is a long-time Winnipeg favourite restaurant offering fresh, homemade, healthy food with great service in multiple locations citywide.
Construction on the space will begin shortly, and the restaurant is expected to be open to the public in early 2024.
